A GCN+ documentary about Andrew Paddison’s 1,000 mile handcycle around the the Highlands of Scotland.

How Cycling Changed my Life is a documentary that weaves through Andrew’s life in the lead up to his greatest challenge yet, a self devised 1,000 mile ride in 10 days.

With mechanicals, wrong turns, classic Scottish rain and 60,000 feet of climbing, this challenge tests Andrew’s determination and his capacity for hard riding day after day. This warm and engaging film gives an insight into Andrew’s life as a thalidomider and his experiences both off and on the bike.
