Project Freeride is an intimate journey with Luke, soon to be father, as he seeks solace in the backcountry,
trying to break out of the box that society and social media puts us in.

Amidst the challenges of being a self-employed content creator, this short documentary film explores parenthood – how Luke feels about becoming a father, and his own complicated relationship and past with father-child bonds and the grief he’s still navigating.

Through Luke’s journeys in nature and with learning how to snowboard, we explore resilience, self-discovery, and
the untold truths that lie beneath the filtered snapshots of life and the instagram filter.
